A walk with my Leica IIIa

Into the light

Took a walk this morning with my Leica IIIa and the Jupiter 8 I just got off eBay – for once a nice surprise from a russian seller. An utterly nice lens without any flaws (apart from those inherent to these lenses).

I had a roll of Tri-X in the camera, perhaps a tad to sensitive for the brilliant summer day, but this emulsion is just so forgiving.

Rats of the sky

These pigeons did not budge, they just continued their pigeon business as if I didn’t squat just beside them. Too hot to move, eh!

Peace!

Speaking of pigeons…. well, doves in this case. And what’s more, peace doves. Call it art, call it kitsch, anyways, it makes a nice subject for my lens.

Underground

The entry to an underground parking. Quite impressive I think.

Brothers?

These guys were so entranced by their phones…. chasing pokemons? Might be Tweedledee and his brother?

Shape

And the last one. Wonder where I got this title from….

OK, that’s all for today. I’ve not posted for way too long and I promise to feed the blog more regularly now.

As always, thanks for reading!
