I can eternally wonder at the inventiveness of the shop-window decorators. Do they know they provide me with prime stuff for early morning shots?
In often get off the bus one station early, only to roam the main shopping area of Luxembourg city, in search for new targets. And more often than not I find them, well decorated, newly invented and beautifully lighted. A real treasure trove for the photographer who rises early.
Those who stop me most are of the the optician’s shops. Not the big chain stores but the smaller, independent opticians who go to any length to attract their customers, to lure them away from the big ones.
Beautifully themed displays, vintage gear decorated with glasses, interesting backgrounds…. their inventiveness has no bounds!
Vintage bikes as support for the glasses, raw wood….
Anything goes!
Others, well, they just put glasses in their shop windows…. too bad for them. But it’s interesting with the lights giving a good perspective.
Thanks again for visiting!
Those creepy shop dummies remind me of a very old Dr Who episode *shudder* š

Streetpan looks awesome based on your photos. I’d like to give it a try one day. It’s quite expensive here (around 500 PhP), but those tones are tempting me. It looks like it has very good contrast and grain. Thank you for sharing!

Quite similar to TriX though if that one’s cheaper for you. Just a bit more contrast and grain…
