All big cities are the same?
All are agglomerations of people living in close proximity, as good as they can!
After my little trip to København, I thought about another city trip I took not too long ago. A trip to Berlin, and a trip that left entirely different impressions.
Less color, unless you count grey as a color! Less relaxed feeling and people seeming much more stressed out and in a hurry.
Why is this?
Of course I did not see all of København, and I certainly did not see all of Berlin. And I might as well apologise to the Berliners for this impression I got of their city.
Anyways, the contrast was very great!
In Denmark’s capital I did not see such buildings, such proximity. All seemed more human sized, a bit like a supercharged Luxembourg City but with a port.
Of course, as I said, I might be entirely off here, but both cities left completely different feelings.
Nothing in common, or not much.
Even the color photos don’t show the same brilliance and happy vibes as the more northern counterpart. At least the way I processed them and expressed my feel of the views.
Anyways, both cities are certainly worth a visit… but I have my preference.
I’m really sorry, Berlin!
Thanks again for stopping by, folks!
